License to use Dictivo

Dictivo Local is sold as a personal desktop license. Buying Local unlocks the paid local models and includes 12 months of app updates and new local models.

After the included update window ends, the version you already installed remains usable. Renewing the update window is optional and is only needed for future app updates and new local models.

Terms

Acceptable use

Do not use Dictivo to break laws, violate another person's rights, abuse support channels, reverse engineer license controls, or interfere with the service used for optional Cloud Fast.

You are responsible for deciding whether a recording is appropriate for Local mode or Cloud Fast. Sensitive audio should stay in Local mode.

Terms

Availability and changes

Dictivo is shipped as desktop software with a public beta label while the product continues to mature. We may improve, remove, or rename features as the product develops.

Cloud Fast depends on remote processing and may be unavailable during maintenance or provider outages. Local mode remains the privacy-first path for everyday dictation.

Terms

Who you buy from, and which law applies

Dictivo is developed and operated from Germany. Purchases go through a payment provider that acts as the merchant of record: it is the seller shown on your receipt and it handles payment, invoicing, and sales tax or VAT. The provider is named at checkout and on the receipt you receive. Your licence to use the software, and support for it, come from Dictivo.

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in the country where you live, and you keep the right to bring proceedings there.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have a statutory right of withdrawal that is separate from, and additional to, our own refund policy. It is described on the refund page.
